CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a theft occurred on Hill City Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Police say on March 24, a known, 25-year-old Cranberry woman stole two of the victims’ checks and forged one that was cashed in Knox.

The victims are a 50-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman, of Cranberry.

The name of the perpetrator was not released.
