ROUSEVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 11:15 a.m. on July 27, an assault occurred on Hiland Avenue, in Rouseville Borough, Venango County.

According to police, 59-year-old George Joseph McKinney, of Rouseville, allegedly physically assaulted a 65-year-old Rouseville woman during a domestic dispute.

Police say McKinney was arraigned before District Judge Andrew F. Fish for violation of Simple Assault.

Unable to post $5,000.00 straight bail, McKinney was committed to the Venango County Jail.

A criminal complaint was filed with District Judge Andrew F. Fish charging McKinney with Simple Assault and Harassment.
