Police Respond to Harassment in Marienville

JENKS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police say an incident resulting in harassment charges took place on North Forest Street in Jenks Township, Forest County.

According to police, the incident occurred at 11:12 p.m. on July 26, 2015 when a 30-year-old Marienville woman and 39-year-old Marienville man entered into a verbal altercation in the front yard of the male’s residence.

The female allegedly slapped the male in the face once or twice, according to police.

Police say the man then allegedly shoved her which caused her to fall to the ground.

The male went in the front door of his residence and tried to shut the door as she tried to stop it from closing, according to police.

She then put her left hand through an 8″ x 10″ window located in the door.

The male homeowner called PSP Marienville to report the incident.

Police say they will both be charged with harassment.

Charges have not been filed against the involved parties as of 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015.
