Police Respond to Rollover Crash in Frenchcreek Township

FRENCHCREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State police say a rollover crash occurred on Thursday evening on Mercer Road, in Frenchcreek Township, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 6:04 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 24-year-old Andrew M. McCracken, of Franklin, was driving a 2014 Dodge Ram truck east on Mercer Road when he tried to pass another vehicle. The truck left the road, struck a tree, and rolled over, traveling about 165 feet across the road where it left the right side of the roadway and stopped.

McCracken was not injured.

He was not using a seat belt.

He was charged with a traffic violation.

The truck had disabling damage and was removed from the scene by Venango Towing.

The Polk Volunteer Fire Department and Community Ambulance assisted at the scene.
