SUGARCREEK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Police say a crash occurred in Sugarcreek Borough late Monday morning when a deer wandered into the roadway and was struck by two vehicles.
According to police, around 10:58 a.m. on Monday, November 11, a motor vehicle crash occurred on U.S. 322 near Meadville Pike.
Police say 67-year-old Maurice Reynolds, of Cochranton, was traveling east on U.S. 322 when a deer entered the path of his vehicle. Reynolds was not able to avoid the animal and struck it.
Following the initial impact, the deer was pushed into the westbound lane, where it was struck a second time by a vehicle operated by 66-year-old Laurence Williams, of Seneca.
No injuries were reported.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were removed from the scene by Lowry’s Auto Wrecking.
