OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — State Police say a two-vehicle accident occurred on Sunday morning northbound on State Route 62, near the intersection with Riverside.

According to police, Julie A. Brooks and John E. Heckman were involved in the collision.

Police say this crash occurred around 11:20 a.m. as a 2011 Subaru Forester, driven by Brooks, was attempting to turn left onto Route 62 when Heckman also traveling northbound, failed to slow down his 2007 Chrysler Sebring.

Although the Chrysler attempted to avoid collision, it struck the Subaru, according to police.

No injuries were reported.

The Subaru was disabled at the scene and was towed by Frank’s Auto and Sons.

No other information was provided.
