Police Respond to Underage Drinking, Other Offenses at Franklin Prom

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police responded to Franklin High School on May 10 for reports of underage drinking and other offenses.

– Two 18-year-old males were observed by Franklin High School staff to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage while attending the Franklin High School Prom, according to police.

Upon the arrival of PSP Franklin, a determination was made that the teens were under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and both were cited for underage drinking.

– An 18-year-old male who was cited earlier in the evening for underage drinking was cited for scattering rubbish. Upon leaving the PSP Franklin station, he discarded his Glow in the Dark Necklaces in the parking lot.

Subsequently, a charge for Scattering Rubbish was filed against him.

– Franklin-based State Police arrested 18-year-old Jacob R. Hernan, of Franklin, for underage drinking at Franklin High School around 11:30 p.m. on May 10.

Upon his release from the state police station, a consent search was completed on the vehicle and suspected marijuana was located.

Charges are pending.
