JENKS TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police are investigating an aggravated assault that occurred on September 24, at SCI Forest in Jenks Township, Forest County.

According to police, around 8:40 a.m. on September 24, a known 38-year-old male inmate struck a 24-year-old male SCI-Forest staff member multiple times in the head with closed fists.

The investigation is ongoing.
