SCRUBGRASS TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say a hit-and-run accident occurred Wednesday morning at a gas station in Emlenton.

According to police, around 5:48 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4, an unknown vehicle pulled through the parking lot of the COGO’s Exxon gas station located at 6412 Emlenton Clintonville Road.

Police say as the vehicle drove through COGO’s parking lot it pulled down some video wires running from the building to the awning over the gas pumps, causing damage to the awning and the video system. The video was not functioning at the time.

The vehicle is believed to be a “large truck.”
