Police Searching for Two Women Who Passed Counterfeit $100 Bills

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Franklin are asking for the public’s help in finding two women who used counterfeit money at multiple businesses throughout Venango County.

Franklin-based State Police Tpr. Young said two light-skinned black women in their early 20s passed numerous counterfeit $100 bills at businesses throughout Venango County. They are believed to be traveling in a silver Chevrolet Impala.

The suspects made small purchases using the counterfeit bills and received change in return. The counterfeit bills passed a marker test and have matching serial numbers. The $100 bills have the date of 1988 and a serial number of G39865587 A.
