EMLENTON, Pa. (EYT) — Police are searching for a woman after she led them on a high-speed chase through a construction zone in Emlenton earlier this month.

Court documents indicate Emlenton Borough Police Department filed criminal charges against 18-year-old Destiny Delcarme Goodin, of Greenville, Pa.

According to a criminal complaint, around 1:34 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, Emlenton Borough Police Chief Dan Siegel Jr. was operating a marked police vehicle on Route 208/38 in Emlenton and saw a white Ford Explorer with a Florida license plate driven by Destiny Goodin drive through the intersection of Kerr Avenue Bridge and turn right without stopping or using her turn signal.

Goodin then drove through road construction at a high rate of speed before abruptly turning right onto McNanny Road and continued to drive at a high rate of speed, the complaint states.

Goodin continued to drive fast and nearly lost control of the vehicle along the steep bank portion of the roadway along the Allegheny River, the complaint continues.

She continued traveling onto McNanny Road for about one-quarter mile before coming to a stop. Chief Siegel saw Goodin exit the driver’s door of the vehicle and flee on foot, according to the complaint.

In addition, three other known juveniles were also seen exiting the vehicle. Chief Siegel then made contact with the three known juveniles as they were walking over the river bank, the complaint states.

After a registration and vehicle identification number check was completed through Venango County 911, it was confirmed that the vehicle being operated by Goodin was stolen from the state of Florida, the complaint indicates.

Venango County 911 also gave information to Chief Siegel that the vehicle registration expired in April 2017 and that Goodin is not a valid driver in the state of Pennsylvania, according to the complaint.

The vehicle was towed to a secure location and inventoried.

Chief Siegel found a wallet on the seat of the vehicle that had a PA identification card issued to Destiny Delcarme Goodin. A birth certificate issued to Goodin was also found in the vehicle, the complaint continues.

A warrant has been issued for Goodin’s arrest.
