Police Seek Info After Large Rock Thrown at Moving Vehicle in Emlenton Area

EMLENTON, Pa. (EYT) – State Police are seeking information on an incident of criminal mischief in the Emlenton area.

According to a report issued by Franklin-based State Police, the incident occurred around 11:25 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, near the intersection of Clintonville Road and Lisbon Road in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County,

Police said unknown person(s) threw a softball-sized rock at a known female’s windshield.

Police believe the rock was thrown from a white Chevrolet Caviler, Cobalt, or similar vehicle.

The vehicle’s windshield was shattered with the rock still lodged in it. The victim was driving in the opposite direction whenever this occurred. The suspect vehicle was heading towards the Emlenton area.

The total damage is approximately $200.00.
