SUGARCREEK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a burglary occurred on Rocky Grove Avenue, in Sugarcreek Borough, Venango County.

According to police, sometime between 1:15 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on June 29, an unknown perpetrator(s) entered a 44-year-old Franklin man’s residence through an unlocked door.

The perpetrator(s) stole $590.00, in various denominations, of US currency and two types of prescribed pain medications, police say.

The perpetrator(s) then fled the scene in an unknown direction by an unknown means undetected.
