Police Seek Information on Hit-and-Run Collision in Forest County

HICKORY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Marienville-based State Police, a hit-and-run collision occurred on October 18 around 11:15 p.m. in Hickory Township, Forest County.

Police say the crash occurred as a 2010 Toyota Corolla was parked, unattended, in the parking lot of the Hickory Nut Inn, located on SR-62 north of Church Hill Road.

An unknown driver in an unknown vehicle pulled into the lot from SR-62 and allegedly impacted the right rear of the Corolla with the front end of his/her vehicle.

After impact, the unknown driver fled the scene, traveling north on SR-62, say police.
