Police Seek Information on Series of Thefts in Rockland Township

ROCKLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say that a series of thefts from motor vehicles occurred in Rockland Township, Venango County.

Police report that this incident occurred between August 16 and August 17 when two suspects, one known and one unknown, entered the victims’ unlocked vehicles overnight.

The suspects stole numerous items which were found in the nearby woods, according to police.

The only items not recovered were US currency of $100 and 2 MSA flash-lights.

Items that were recovered but not claimed include:

One woman’s Blue Nike Tennis shoes size 7.5
One woman’s black patent leather high heels
One Decorative china cups with gold trim
One Raccoon statue
One Left handed UGG orange gloves
2 navy blue dresses
One Blue Rain Deer Umbrella
One Black Master Mechanic utility knife
