OIL CREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a theft occurred at a residence located at 16961 White City Road, Oil Creek Township, Venango County.

According to police, sometime between 7:00 a.m. on October 1 and 8:00 p.m. on October 10, a 40-year-old known male removed jewelry and coins from an Oil Creek Township residence and sold the items.

The investigation continues.

The name of the perpetrator was not released.
