Police Seek Witnesses in Crawford County Deadly Crash

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Pa. — Conneaut Lake Police are seeking witnesses to a deadly motorcycle-SUV crash that occurred in August.

The collision occurred around 10:20 p.m. on August 24 on Route 18 near Mohawk Drive, Conneaut Lake.

Police say that an ongoing investigation determined that multiple persons and vehicles were in the vicinity of the accident.

According to police, the SUV was southbound on Route 18, and the motorcycle was traveling west from the Meadville area on Route 6 and then north onto Route 18.

According to Crawford County Coroner Scott Schell, the driver of the motorcycle, 23-year-old Jacob I. Munoz, of Espyville was driving home from work when he was involved in the crash.

He was taken by ambulance to Meadville Medical Center where he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival, according to Schell.
