State Police Seeking Information on Polk Area Burglary

VICTORY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police are seeking the public’s help with a burglary investigation in Victory Township.

According to police, sometime between 4:00 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. on Monday, August 6, unknown individual(s) gained access to a camp along Slatertown Road.

Police say while on the property, the individual(s) unsuccessfully attempted to break into a cabin and used a hammer to gain access to a garage where they took a chain and a gas can. The individual(s) then attached the chain to a locked shed door and pulled it open using an ATV.

According to police, the individual(s) then stole a black 5×8 utility trailer and a 1993 Suzuki 125cc dirt bike before leaving the property in an unknown direction.
