Police Seeking Information on Theft of Laptop from WalMart

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a retail theft occurred at WalMart in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, around 1:10 p.m. on July 12, an unknown perpetrator took a selected wire cutting tool from the hardware section of WalMart to the electronic section. Then, the perpetrator cut the cable that was attached to a laptop on the display.

The perpetrator concealed the laptop under his clothes and left the store in a white van in an unknown direction, police say.

The total value of the laptop is $249.00.
