TITUSVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Police are seeking information on a Titusville woman wanted for Fleeing and Eluding following a high-speed chase on Friday.

According to City of Titusville Police Department, on Friday, July 12, 2019, shortly before 3:00 p.m., officers were led on a high-speed chase that started in the city, as officers attempted to perform a traffic stop in the 400 Block of North Perry Street on a black Hyundai sedan that was being operated by 28-year-old Sarah Bloom, of Titusville.

When Titusville Police activated their emergency lights and sirens, Bloom accelerated in speed and refused to stop.

Titusville Police pursued Bloom out of the City, northbound on Perry Street. Bloom then turned and continued onto Stewart Road. While in pursuit, Bloom failed to stop at clearly posted stop signs, traveled several times in the opposing lane of traffic, and reached speeds of 85 to 90 MPH.

As the pursuit reached the area of Buells Corner Road, Titusville Police made the determination to terminate the pursuit due to the safe of the community, Bloom, and the officers.

On Saturday, July 13, Titusville Police, along with Pennsylvania State Police Troopers from both the Warren and Corry barracks, traveled to a residence on Flat Road in Grand Valley in an attempt to locate Bloom. While at that location, the black Hyundai sedan was discovered to be hidden in a side yard, behind a small section of woods. The male resident informed Titusville Police that as they were approaching the residence, Bloom saw them and took off through the backwoods on foot with another male.

A second male — 21-year-old Donovan Vroman, of Titusville — was questioned by Titusville Police.

He was arrested and charged with one felony count of Hindering Apprehension when he intentionally and knowingly lied about Bloom’s whereabouts.

Vroman was taken into custody and released to Adult Probation before being committed to the Crawford County Jail.

The following charges were filed against Bloom on July 15 in Magisterial District Judge Amy L. Nicols’s office:

– Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Officer, Felony 3
– Duties At Stop Sign, Summary
– Duties At Stop Sign, Summary
– Duties At Stop Sign, Summary
– Careless Driving, Summary
– Reckless Driving, Summary
– Driving While Operator’s Privileges Suspended Or Revoked, Summary

In addition, she has several active warrants out of Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Anyone with information on Bloom’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Titusville Police Department at 814-724-2548.
