Police Seeking Public’s Help Identifying Counterfeit Money Suspect

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — State Police in Clarion are attempting to identify a man who is a suspect in multiple retail thefts in the Clarion area.

Tpr. Allison said the suspect “purchased (stole) or attempted to purchase items at multiple retail locations using counterfeit $20.00 bills on Tuesday, October 23.”

One of the incidents occurred at Clarion Walmart around 12:49 p.m.

Police believe the suspect was operating a mid-size silver sedan with a sunroof at the time of the incidents.
