Police: Fifteen Rocky Grove Students Face Summary Charges Following Senior Prank

Sugarcreek PoliceSUGARCREEK, Pa. (EYT) – More than a dozen Rocky Grove High School students are facing summary charges after they vandalized the school.

According to a report from Chief Matt Carlson, of Sugarcreek Borough Police, the break-in and vandalism occurred in the late evening hours of Monday, May 29.

Police say 15 students entered the school through a window and then proceeded to make a huge mess in the school with eggs, toilet paper, soap, paper, shaving cream, and other things as a senior prank.

Sugarcreek Borough Police issued the following statement regarding the incident:

The students could have faced charges of burglary, institutional vandalism, and more, but school district officials, the Venango County District Attorney’s office, and Sugarcreek Borough Police opted for lesser charges that will not follow the students throughout their adult life.
