Police: Vandals Cause $30k Damage at Pleasant Township Oil Well

PLEASANT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — State Police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief that occurred on Zimmerman Hill Road and Mohawk, in Pleasant Township, Warren County.

According to Warren-based State Police, sometime between July 5 and July 30, an unknown perpetrator(s) intentionally damaged an oil well causing $30,000.00 cleanup.

Later, the 75-year-old male victim “received a threat, via phone, from an unknown person that if he does not pay his debt that another accident at his oil site will occur,” police say.
