Polk Woman Accused Speeding, DUI with 3-Month Old Child in Car

HandcuffsCRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Polk woman is facing charges of DUI and child endangerment after a Tuesday afternoon vehicle crash in Cranberry Township.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 4:31 p.m. on August 8, a known Polk woman was speeding on Steffee Boulevard when she crashed at the roadway’s dead end.

A three-month-old child was in the vehicle at the time and drug paraphernalia was found in the woman’s purse.

Police said DUI, child endangerment, and possession of drug paraphernalia would be filed in district court.

Charges have not been filed as of Thursday morning.
