Police Release Details on DUI Crash in Sandycreek Township

SANDYCREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police released details on a DUI crash that occurred on Congress Hill Road, in Sandycreek Township, Venango County.

According to police, around 5:42 p.m. on July 24, a known male suspect drove off the road and traveled into a ditch along an embankment for approximately 50 feet.

Police say the suspect’s vehicle came to a final rest just before a driveway opening on Congress Hill Road.

The suspect admitted to drinking alcohol just before the crash, according to police.

Sugarcreek Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.

The suspect was taken into custody and transported to PSP Franklin for processing.

The name of the suspect was not released.
