BEAVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, around 12:32 p.m. on June 29, a two-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 208, at its intersection with Veterans Way, in Beaver Township, Clarion County.
Police say 65-year-old Derwin G. Wenner, of Emlenton, and 64-year-old Terry L. Raybuck, of Knox, were involved in the collision.
According to police, a 2005 Jeep Liberty, driven by Wenner, was traveling east on Route 208, and a 2010 Ford F150 pickup, driven by Raybuck, was stopped to make a left turn onto Veterans Way. The Jeep impacted the Ford pickup from behind.
The Jeep came to a rest at the point of impact. The Ford pickup spun 180 degrees and came to a rest facing west on the northern shoulder of the roadway. Both vehicle sustained disabling damage.
Wenner and a 13-year-old male passenger suffered suspected minor injuries; they were using seat belts.
Knox EMS transported Raybuck to Clarion Hospital for injuries of unknown severity. He was using a seat belt.
Wenner was charged with a traffic violation.
Knox Volunteer Fire Department, Knox EMS, and Frye’s Towing assisted at the scene.
