State Police Calls: Building Inspection Theft/Fraud, DUI

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Building Theft/Fraud

A known suspect performed building inspections as a former employee for Construction Code Inspections, Inc. and forged customer checks so that the payment for the services would go to the suspect instead of the company.

The incident occurred sometime between January 15 and February 16 at multiple locations.

PSP Franklin is currently investigating the incident.

DUI in Sugarcreek Borough

Around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 4, 25-year-old woman was stopped for a traffic violation on State Route 8, Allegheny Blvd., in Sugarcreek Borough.

She was subsequently arrested for DUI.

DUI and related charges are pending.

The name of the driver was not released.
