Tionesta Woman Crashes Car Into Garage

CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police say a Tionesta woman escaped injuries after she wrecked her sport utility vehicle into a garage in Clarion Township.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 12:08 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 47-year-old Kristen C. Brown, of Tionesta, was driving a 2011 Toyota RAV4 west on Stone House Road and failed to negotiate a left curve and hit an embankment. The SUV then traveled 125 feet before hitting the center of a small concrete storage garage located 10 feet off the road. The SUV traveled into the garage and was at a final rest inside the garage.

Brown was using a seat belt and was not injured.

She was charged with a traffic violation.

The SUV had damage to the front hood and bumper; it was removed from the scene by Gatesman Towing.

Strattanville Volunteer Fire Company assisted at the scene.
