Harrisville Woman Escapes Injury in One-Vehicle Crash in Clinton Township

CLINTON TWP. Pa., (EYT) Franklin-based State Police say around 2:01 p.m. on April 25, a one-vehicle accident occurred on Porter Road, in Clinton Township.

According to police, 41-year-old Cindy M. Griffith, of Harrisville, was traveling east on Porter Road, and a deer entered the roadway. She attempted to avoid it, braked and traveled off the left side of the road, and her 2006 Chevrolet Silverado struck a utility pole.

She was using a seat belt and was not injured.

Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department and Emlenton Ambulance assisted at the scene.

She was charged with a traffic violation.
