Wanted Woman Arrested for Drug Possession after Traffic Stop on Route 8

CORNPLANTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police report a drug arrest was made on Route 8 in Cornplanter Township, Venango County.

Police say upon conducting a traffic stop for multiple equipment violations, officers observed items of drug paraphernalia in plain view.

A search of the vehicle was conducted.

Police found multiple items of drug paraphernalia and suspected controlled substances.

Upon running the female driver’s information it was discovered that two bench warrants existed for her arrest.

She was placed in the Venango County Jail.

Police say the investigation is ongoing pending lab results.

Police did not release the name of the suspect.
