CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — An Oil City man was rushed to UPMC Northwest following a two-vehicle crash on Friday evening.

According to Franklin-based State Police, 36-year-old Kristofer L. Bloom, of Seneca, and 31-year-old David L. Grams, of Oil City, were involved in the collision that occurred around 5:49 p.m. on Friday, October 5, on State Route 157, at its intersection with Gablr Lane, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Police say Grams’ 2008 Ford F150 pickup was stopped in the westbound lane of travel because a vehicle was stopped in front of it. The pickup was then rear-ended by a 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer driven by Bloom.

Community Ambulance Service transported Grams to UPMC Northwest for possible injuries. He was using a seat belt.

Police say Bloom refused treatment; he was not using a seat belt.

He was charged with a traffic violation.

Minnick’s Towing removed both vehicles from the scene.

Seneca Volunteer Fire Department assisted with traffic control.
