Oil City Woman Escapes Injury in One-Car Crash on Route 257

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police say a one-car accident occurred yesterday afternoon on State Route 257, at its intersection with Church Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, this crash occurred around 5:45 p.m. as a 2016 Toyota Prius – driven by 58-year-old Christine L. Huey, of Oil City – was traveling north on Route 257, near Education Drive. A deer ran onto the roadway, and the Toyota struck it.

Huey was using a seat belt and was not injured.

The Toyota was disabled; Venango Towing removed it from the scene.
