FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Three suspects were arrested for alleged drug possession in the City of Franklin, Venango County.

Around 8:06 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, the City of Franklin Police Department was assisting Probation and Parole with a search at 26-year-old Becky Sue Lynn Caldwell’s apartment at 10 Arbor Circle. Upon arrival, Probation and Parole Agents were attempting to detain all persons in the apartment.

Caldwell’s four-year-old daughter was in the residence, according to police.

Agents attempted to put a male in handcuffs, but he ran from the apartment. Franklin Police identified themselves and began to pursue the suspect, but he continued to run. During the short foot pursuit, the man allegedly tried to throw Heroin and Crack Cocaine in the woods, but it was found. After arresting the man, he was identified as 26-year-old Daquan L. McNair, of Warren, Ohio. Marijuana was found in his possession, police say.

Another female, 26-year-old Sha Nell Denis Ronay Jones, of Warren, Ohio, who was also involved in the incident, was later allegedly found to have a small amount of marijuana on her person, according to police.

After the scene was secure, the City of Franklin Police obtained a search warrant for the above apartment and allegedly found Heroin and Cocaine, as well as multiple items of drug paraphernalia, police say.

All persons arrested were arraigned in front of Judge Lowry.

Caldwell faces the following charges:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Endangering Welfare of Children -Parent/Guardian/Other Commits Offense, Misdemeanor 1
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, (two counts)
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor (eight counts)

Caldwell is lodged in the Venango County Jail; bail was denied, as she is on Parole and was found to be in possession of Heroin, according to court documents.

Sha Jones faces the following charges:

– Possession Of Marijuana, Misdemeanor
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor

Unable to post $15,000.00 monetary bail, Jones was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

McNair faces the following charges:

– Resist Arrest/Other Law Enforce, Misdemeanor 2
– Possession Of Marijuana, Misdemeanor
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor
– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver

Unable to post $50,000.00 monetary bail, McNair was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

Preliminary hearings are scheduled for Wednesday, December 28, at 1:30 p.m.
