Two Arrested For DUI Following Separate Traffic Stops

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) –Franklin-based State Police have issued reports of two alleged DUI incidents over the holiday weekend.

Police report the first incident took place around 11:13 p.m. July 4 along East First Street in Oil City.

In that incident, a known male was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

He was placed under arrest for DUI, with charges pending blood alcohol content results.

Police report the second incident took place around 2:45 a.m. July 5 at the intersection of Grandview Road and Oak Road in Cornplanter Township, Venanago County.

In the second incident, a known 30-year-old Lamartine man was stopped for a traffic violation and was subsequently arrested for DUI, with charges pending.

No further information was released.
