Police Investigating Death in Emlenton

EMLENTON BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the death of a 54-year-old Emlenton man.

According to police, around 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 10, a known 54-year-old victim was found deceased on the bedroom floor of his Main Street residence.

He was found near his bed by his live-in girlfriend.

Police say the investigation is currently being considered a death by natural causes; however, PSP is not ruling out drug toxicity ingestion as an exacerbating factor.

Police say there were no signs of foul play at the scene of the incident.

A toxicology test for the victim is forthcoming and the investigation is ongoing.
