Vehicle Crashes into Tree in Jackson Township; Cooperstown Woman Injured

ambulance-blurryJACKSON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say a Cooperstown woman was injured on December 25 in a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Patchel Run Road, in Jackson Township, Venango County.

According to police, this crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. as a 2010 Subaru Forester – driven by 25-year-old Ashley Myers, of Cooperstown – was traveling north on Patchel Run Road at approximately 45 mph and went off the south shoulder of the roadway, striking a tree.

Myers was not using a seat belt and suffered suspected minor injuries.

She was charged with a traffic violation.

Cooperstown Volunteer Fire Department, Community Ambulance Service, and Lowry’s Towing assisted at the scene.
