Titusville Woman Taken to Hospital in Pleasantville Crash

PLEASANTVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — A passenger in a Sunday afternoon vehicle accident was taken to the hospital.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 2:09 p.m. on Sunday, December 10, 71-year-old Richard Britton, of Titusville, was driving a 2002 Jeep Liberty south on South Main Street in Pleasantville when he lost control on the icy road and spun off the road, hitting a utility pole.

Britton wasn’t injured; however, a passenger, 69-year-old Bonnie Britton, of Titusville, suffered suspected minor injuries.

She was taken to UPMC Northwest by Emergycare Ambulance.

Both were using seat belts.

The Jeep was able to be driven from the scene.

The Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
