RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say two semi-trucks collided in heavy traffic on Interstate 80 in Richland Township.
According to police, around 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, two Freightliner trucks were traveling in the backlog of the construction zone on I-80 westbound near mile marker 48 when one truck struck the other truck’s trailer from behind.
Police say the second truck’s trailer then drifted backward and struck the first truck’s front end.
No injuries were reported and both drivers were cited with applicable charges.
