State Police Ask for Public’s Help with Rockland Twp. Arson Case

ROCKLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police are investigating the arson of a stolen vehicle that was located in Rockland Township, Venango County.

The vehicle was reported stolen from the City of Titusville to the Titusville City Police Department.

An unknown actor drove the vehicle to a location on Potter Falls Road just off Kennerdale Road in Rockland Township and then by unknown means set the vehicle on fire.

The unknown actor then fled the scene.

Police say the incident took place between 11:47 p.m. July 25, 2015, and 9:30 a.m. July 26, 2015.

The vehicle was a Blue 2014 Dodge Challenger bearing PA registration JNP-5781.
