Cranberry Man Crashes Vehicle on Route 8

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say a one-vehicle crash occurred on Sunday morning on State Route 8, in Venango County.

According to police, around 9:24 a.m. on Sunday, February 4, 21-year-old Austin Leroy Goheen, of Cranberry, was traveling south on Route 8 and lost control of his vehicle and then struck the guide rail.

No injuries were reported.

The vehicle was disabled.

Sandycreek Volunteer Fire Department, PennDOT, and Tom Hovis Towing assisted at the scene.
