Man Sustains Major Injuries in Victory Township Crash

VICTORY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police responded to a one-vehicle accident resulting in major injuries on Old Route 8 in Victory Township, Venango County.

Police say at 4:23 p.m. September 29, 2015, 48-year-old Nick Visnosky, of Ashtabula, OH was traveling north on Old Route 8.

Visnosky swerved his 2015 Freightliner into the oncoming travel lane before returning to the correct lane, according to police. The vehicle then traveled through the oncoming travel lane again and left the west side of the roadway into a field.

The vehicle traveled through a ditch and came to final rest on a driveway.

Police say Visnosky was transported to UPMC Northwest by Community Ambulance Service for unknown major injuries.

Visnosky was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.

The vehicle was towed by Hovis Auto Wrecking.

Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the scene.
