Prelimary Hearing Continued for Polk Man Accused of Raping Woman He Met on Tinder

GavelINDIANA, Pa. (EYT) – A preliminary hearing set for Tuesday for a Polk man facing rape and related charges stemming from an alleged incident that occurred in White Township, Indiana County, has been continued.

No new date has yet been scheduled for the hearing, with Magisterial District Judge George M. Thachik presiding.

According to court documents, Indiana-based State Police filed criminal charges against 21-year-old Kaleb Joshua Glenn, of Polk, Pa.

According to PSP Indiana, the 20-year-old female victim and Kaleb Glenn met online via a dating website called Tinder.

They arranged an in-person meeting at a home on Maple Street, in White Township, police say.

“The victim told police that the two engaged in ‘light physical contact,’ but when she refused sexual intercourse, he raped her,” police say.

Glenn was arraigned at 8:45 a.m. on May 6 in front of Judge Thachik on the following charges:

– Rape Forcible Compulsion, Felony 1

– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2

– Harassment – Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary

Unable to post $25,000.00 monetary bail, Glenn remains lodged in the Indiana County Jail.
