Preliminary Hearing in Cochranton Murder Postponed

COCHRANTON, Pa. (EYT) – A preliminary hearing that was set for today for two women who are accused of killing an Ohio woman has been postponed.

Court records show that the preliminary hearing for 20-year-old Ashley Barber and 18-year-old Jade Olmstead has been rescheduled for June 25.

Police say the two admitted to killing 20-year-old Brandy Rosine Stevens of Beaver Township, Ohio, and burying her in a shallow grave at a home in Cochranton.

Both women face charges of Criminal Homicide, Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Homicide, and Tampering with Evidence.
