ASHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State police are investigating a PayPal scam that occurred on Umstead Road, in Ashland Township, Clarion County.

Franklin-based State Police say around 5:48 p.m. on October 30, an Ashland Township man agreed to sell an IPad to a man claiming to be from Ohio. The victim received what appeared to be a payment confirmation receipt as payment for the IPad, so he mailed it.

The victim has not received payment in his bank account.

The incident is under investigation.
