Rabies Clinic Set for Saturday in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Precious Paws Animal Rescue is sponsoring a rabies clinic Saturday afternoon at the SNYP Clinic in Franklin.

The clinic runs from 1-4 p.m. Appointments are not necessary.

A one-year shot is $10 and a three-year shot is $15. Owners must have proof of prior vaccine for the three-year shot.

Veterinarian Dr. Rainy Waltz will be administering the shots.

Also, microchipping will be available for $10. The fee doesn’t include the lifetime license fee, which may be bought from the county treasurer’s office for an additional fee. ($31.50 for altered animals and $51.50 for intact animals).

Viral vaccines, which includes distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza are available for $10. Lyme vaccines are available for $20.

The clinic is located at 720 Atlantic Avenue in Franklin.
