Raymond “Ray” G. Millero

Raymond “Ray” G. Millero, of Stoneboro, Mineral Township, Venango County, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at 2:06 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014, in the emergency room of Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township. He was 70.

Born Jan. 26, 1944, in Greenville, he was a son of Albert M. and Margaret M. Jordan Millero Sr.

Mr. Millero was a 1963 graduate of Reynolds High School. After high school, Ray went into the military and was a proud U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam.

After his discharge from the military, Ray worked at the former Chicago Bridge and Iron Co., Hempfield Township, until 1984 and then at Flexospan of Sandy Lake, where he was currently a master mechanic and the supervisor of the garage operations. Also, along with his wife Deb, he owned and operated AloraDonna Gifts and Flowers of Grove City.

Ray was of the Catholic faith.

He was a member of the Italian Home Club, Greenville, and of various VFWs and American Legion posts.

He loved the outdoors, deer hunting and riding his four-wheeler. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins.

He also was a collector of many things, especially trains and Star Trek memorabilia.

Ray was known by all as a generous man with his time and talent and was always willing to go out of his way to help anyone in need. He had a great sense of humor and always made people feel good with his wonderful smile.

Ray was especially proud of his children and grandchildren and of their accomplishments in life.
