Raymond Ross Garlick, 80 of Worth Township, passed away at 6 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2014, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a brief illness.

Mr. Garlick was born Dec. 26, 1933, in Coraopolis, Allegheny County, to William Russell Garlick and Margaret Osenbaugh Garlick.

He retired from the Air Force and Cooper Energy Services, Grove City. Mr. Garlick owned and operated Laurie’s Country Station in Polk from 1979 to 2006.

Raymond was of the Methodist faith.

His wife, the former Dorothy E Ohler, whom he married Nov. 8, 1954, survives at home.

Also surviving are: three daughters, Danna L. Kightlinger and her husband Charles, Sandy Lake; Laura L. Bowlin and her husband Gerald, Jackson Center; and Sandra J. Mahoney and her husband Joseph, Seneca, Venango County; four grandchildren, Charles and Elizabeth Kightlinger; Christina Beggs and her husband Alexander; and Cassidy Bowlin; and a great-granddaughter, McKenna Fritsche; two sisters, Patricia Burrows and her husband Robert, Millbrook; and Sarah Wildman, Georgia; and two brothers, Earl Garlick and his wife Louise; and Robert Garlick and his wife Patricia, all Baden, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Beatrice Strouss, Henrietta May Kellogg and Laura Clayton.

Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Friday (5-9-14) in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday (5-10-14) in the funeral home with the Rev. Willard Morse, visitation pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, Grove City, officiating.

Interment with military honors will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake Township.
