In addition to Hinderliter being named All-PSAC West, Clarion University had a pair of players named to the team – one woman and one man.

Senior 1,000-point scorer Cameron Grumley earned second-team All-PSAC West men’s honors.

Grumley, a local product out of Johnsonburg, Pa., started all 28 games for Clarion this past year, leading the Golden Eagles in most statistical categories. The fearless point guard ranked 1st on the team in minutes (34.3/game), field goals made (180), 3-point field goals made (58), assists (84), steals (40), free throws made (82), all with a team-best scoring average of 17.9 points per game.

His 17.9 points per game ranked 12th overall in the PSAC and was the sixth-best mark in the Western Division.

On Jan. 13, Grumley entered the Clarion record books, becoming the 30th player in school history to net 1,000 career points. He achieved the feat in front of the home crowd against Gannon University.

2017-2018 also saw Grumley set new career highs, most notably his 30-point effort against Mercyhurst on January 8th, a new personal best. A career-high 10 rebounds were achieved twice during this past season, and his 9 assists against Penn State Greater Allegheny also set a new high mark.

Grumley leaves Clarion having scored 1,212 points, which ranks 16th all-time in Clarion history.

Clarion senior Amesha Harden-Pullium joined Hinderliter on the women’s second team.

Harden-Pullium led Clarion with 14.6 points per game, a +4.5 difference from her scoring a year ago. Asked to take on more of the scoring load in 2017-18, Harden-Pullium nearly matched her previous three years’ worth of total points output. She finished with double-digit point totals in 22 of 28 games played this year, including a career-high 26 against Mercyhurst on Jan. 8. Harden-Pullium ranked second on the team with 2.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game as well.

On a conference-wide level, Harden-Pullium ranked sixth among her peers in the PSAC with an average of 2.1 three-pointers made per game and ranked seventh among qualified shooters in three-point field goal percentage.
