OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Relay for Life of Venango County is seeking donations for a Children’s Carnival to be held at this year’s Relay for Life event.

Relay for Life of Venango County are asking for donations of gently used toys for children around the ages of three to 12, to be used as prizes at a Children’s Carnival during the Relay for Life event on Saturday, June 1. (Items should be from a smoke free home.bOrganizers are also asking that toys have no small pieces that could be a choking hazard.)

Open Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Wilson, Thompson & Cisek, 1162 Elk Street, Franklin, PA 16323
Open Monday-Friday 9 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Venango Area Chamber of Commerce, 24 Seneca St., Oil City, PA 16301
Open Monday-Friday 9 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Donations will be accepted May 14 through May 29. Cash donations to go shopping for prizes will also be accepted.

Help celebrate the 25th anniversary of Relay for Life of Venango County and join in for many activities, games, music and fun throughout the day. Registration is free and all are welcome. You do not need to be on a team to participate.

Relay for Life will be held at the Oil City High School track at 10 Lynch Boulevard in Oil City on Saturday June 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

10:00 a.m. — Opening Ceremony
3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. — Children’s Carnival
5:00 p.m. — Survivor Dinner
9:00 p.m. — Luminaria Ceremony
11:00 p.m. — Closing Ceremony
