OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Lane restrictions will be in place on West First Street (Route 3025) in Oil City on July 1, 2019, as repairs are made to the roadway.

Work is expected to be performed along West First Street from the intersection with Petroleum Street (Route 62) to the border with Cranberry Township.

Motorists should expect to encounter lane restrictions controlled by flaggers.

The work will be completed by PennDOT District 1 maintenance employees in Venango County.

PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
